Greetings.
Me and some other friends want to do Sorrow's in HM or NM, and all my friends only got prophecies. Anyone remember the old builds for healer, bonder, mm, ss and tank using only prophecies skills?

This is what i remember:

Tank: [healing hands][dolyak signet]
MM: [animate bone fiend][blood of the master]
SS: [spiteful spirit][arcane echo][desecrate enchantments][spinal shivers][awaken the blood][blood ritual]
Bonder: [life barrier][life bond][blessed signet][mantra of inscriptions]
Healer: [word of healing]

If you got suggestions for the rest of the skills, or entirely new builds, please tell me

jeez, going back a while here

the only thing i can remebr is that the tank is a 'stance' tank, EG using lots of stances. Else im lost

It isint nearly as effective now because of the minon cap and because ss will cause monsters to flee.

Put life attune on that bar for GG heals with HH and Heal seed

i remember some Mm's took glyph of renewal -> vereta's sacriface

also bonder had vital blessing, watchful spirit, life att,...

I am fairly sure that you dont really need "tankway" to clear SF. Even as 5-man

Anyway, tank was also taking [Watch Yourself], [Shield Stance] and [Gladiators Defense] instead of HH and [Deadly Riposte] / [Riposte], [Rebirth]

Bonder was usually taking [Balthazars Spirit] (both for himself and for tank) and [Life Attunement], [Rebirth]

Healer was also taking [Healing Seed], [Dwaynas Kiss], [Essence Bond] (put on tank), [Rebirth]

SS was also taking [Suffering] and [Res Signet]

MM was also using [Bone Horrors] and [Heal Area] and [Tainted flesh] as elite (put on tank) they also carried [Deathly Swarm], [Rebirth]

all in all, theese builds are very sucky by todays standards, but they can work well if you are interested is reliving good old 5-man SF days

not sure if this would work anymore without the gear trick though...
but you can just stick to doin kilroy quest

you're a mm, bring two warrior hench and two monk hench and you're good to go!

It still works, the tank just has to actually know how to tank, everyone should be bonded, and the WoH needs to not suck. However, you'd probably clear much faster with a more conventional build where all characters were dedicated damage dealers with utility (DSlash Warriors, damage reduction skills on the SS) and two monks.

I want to point out that this is not intended for money farming with most effectiveness, but just doing the Furnace while having fun like in the old days. I also dont think that 1 human and 4 henchmen can do the Furnace in HM, Persian Daddy.
DSlash is also not a Prophecies skill. I could use [enfeebling blood] for the SS, thats correct. Any other suggestions than these builds? A nuker maybe? Barragers? E/Rt prot? N/Mo WoH?

Unfortunately you cant do E/Rt since, like you said yourself, your friends only have Prophecies. I remember doing Barrage/Pet teams there in the old days so you could probably make a passable build with 3 B/P's, a MM, and a Healer with what you have to work with.

Of course the basics:

As for the MM an [skill]Aura of the Lich[/skill] might work. Probably better if the Nec goes [skill]Spiteful Spirit[/skill][skill]Mark of Pain[/skill] though and you change the third B/P for a [skill]Gladiators Defense[/skill] stancer.

Usual [skill]Word of Healing[/skill] Proph monk.

Don't know how good it would do in a 5man like that, haven't done Sorrows in forever. You're with friends though so you should have better teamwork than most Pugs so it could be doable.

Thanks for the suggestion guys. RebelGeek, i meant a E/Mo [[Ether Renewal] prot, but dont know if that is viable since you dont have [[Glyph of Swiftness].
